Photochemical Smog

Photo means light, so photochemical smog is formed when the action of sunlight on pollutions like hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides. A reaction to this is that it forms a brownish mixture of ozone and other pollutions. The ozone layer blocks UV radiation, protecting living things on Earth. In the troposphere, ozone is a pollutant that can irritate eyes, throat, lungs, can harm plants and living things, and damage many materials. A solution to the problem would be to invent new cars that cause less pollution and recently built power plants. Also we could have more public transportation to help reduce the amount of air pollution.
